  • Homemade rainwater catchment system – 8 daisy-chained 40-50 gallon pickle barrels from Friedman’s capture rain from roof that flows through gutter downspouts.

LANDSCAPE:

  • Drip irrigation (needed very little)

  • Native plants

FIRE HARDENING:

  • Clay tile roof good for fire resistance

  • Vulcan vents in basement and attic vents to keep fire from entering home through vents.
